Investment Focus

C5 will invest in businesses with the potential to demonstrate clear and sustainable leadership in their specialist sectors. Our primary focus is companies based in Europe, which must be able to demonstrate:

Ability to grow sales rapidly in expanding markets
Market leading products and technology with applications in both public and commercial sectors
A skilled and experienced management team with strong entrepreneurial drive
A sustainable business plan that C5 can support by utilising its expertise and networks
Adherence to the highest standards of controls, compliance and governance

C5 will be a proactive investor. We will work closely with the Boards and management teams of our portfolio companies.

Our typical first investment size will be £2m-£5m, with an expectation that we are able to provide further funding to accelerate successful business strategies. We would expect to have normal minority investor rights, including a Board seat.
